I was born and raised in Switzerland in the Kanton of Zug where I went to school before starting my bachelor studies in Biomedicine at the University of Zürich. For my Masters I decided to pursue the field of cancer biology and joined the Lopes lab for a project in DNA replication dynamics in hematopoietic stem cells. For my PhD I am planning to work on a follow-up of my Master project in the more pathological context of leukemia and myeloproliferative neoplasms. Outside of the lab I like to cook, play the clarinet and do sports such as bouldering, swimming and skiing.
