Born and raised in Zofingen (Aargau), I studied Biomedicine at the the University of Zurich where I obtained my BSc. In April of 2021, I joined the group of Prof. Sartori to conduct my MSc thesis research project, which concerns itself with establishing the DNA repair nuclease FAN1 as a novel therapeutic target and the characterization of FAN1 binding ligands.
