Nina obtained a bachelor at the University of Fribourg before completing a master degree in Biomedicine with a minor in Bioinformatics at the University of Zurich. She  performed her master thesis in Prof. Gassmann’s group where she focused on metastasis progression and hypoxia. Following this, she joined the IMCR to start her PhD which will investigate the link between hyperproliferation-induced DNA replication stress and the early stages of tumorigenesis, under the joint supervision of Prof. Lopes and Prof. Weber.
