Jasna graduated from the Zürich University of Applied Sciences with a master’s degree in Biotechnology. She performed her Master thesis in Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research in the field of liver regeneration. She then joined the Weber lab, where she is currently employed as a lab technician, creating different in vitro models of Mcl1 deletion, such as primary 3D organoids or using CRISPR/Cas9 in cell lines. She is also working on identifying molecular mechanisms by which the loss of Mcl1 results in circle of apoptosis and hyperproliferation in the murine intestine.
